and engineers. The group brings skill sets and real world experience
from R&D, sales, marketing, licensing, general management
and training & development.
Dr. Rod Greder, President of New
Productivity Group, is an experienced leader of R&D,
business development and marketing at Fortune 100 companies
including Dow Chemical and Cargill. He most recently managed
budgets in excess of $20MM and provided leadership to a staff
of 100 scientists and technicians conducting research and development
in genetics and biotechnology. He has also led teams that successfully
developed strategic marketing programs and he has conducted
technology licensing and other business development activities
in over 20 countries on five continents. Dr.
Greder has consulted and delivered presentations on Biotechnology
and R&D productivity improvement for numerous clients including;
Medtronic, Possis Medical, the US Department of Agriculture,
Medical Device Resource Group and the Global Business Research
Forum. He has delivered presentations in eight countries on
four continents. Rod is an adjunct faculty member in the marketing
department at the University of St. Thomas. Rod focuses on
productivity measurement and cross-functional communication
in new product development.
Gary
Jader, MBA has over 17 years of experience in sales, marketing
and general management with a Fortune 100 company and several
startup technology companies. He helped 3M create an entirely
new product line in the skin care area launching 10 new products
in less than five years. He helped WAM!NET grow their digital
data storage healthcare business from 50 employees to 600
in less than two years. Mr. Jader has been involved in all
phases of new product development and marketing as well as
general management. He is the current president of the Product
Development & Management Association-Minnesota Chapter.
Gary's passion and expertise are in the areas of ideation
and new product launch.
Jim
Woodman, Ph.D. has held various positions in the bioscience
industry in the past 20 years. Over the past three years Jim
has coached companies on new product development, intellectual
asset management and organizational development as a consultant
at Minnesota Technology Inc. Dr. Woodman served six years
as executive director of the Minnesota Biotechnology Association.
Jim focuses on enhancing product development processes,
providing leadership training and team building.
Tom
Sullivan, MBA has over 20 years of experience in engineering,
operations management and general management. Tom directed
manufacturing operations at two plants employing 700 employees
and covering eight major product lines for Baxter. He also
was general manager of a 500 person vertically integrated
technology division at Medtronic. He is a certified six-sigma
black belt. Tom's expertise is in manufacturing technologies,
organizational development and business processes.
